Mobile Usage Survey in India - stastic Chart

Namste,

Mobile usage survey

Which mobile phones they own, which are they likely to buy and why?

How much are they willing to spend on a new phone, and much more..

This survey response from 150+ Indian cities, which includes five metros (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore) and the next top five cities, namely Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Hyderabad and Pune.

Survey via SMS and online via internet connection.

Round & Round but to the point, at the all here it is….

City Wise survey:

Other cities are also included with metros….

Amazing figure what to see “change is only the permanent” .

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Budget alloted for next moblie purchase:

Economically figure says that our income and purchasing power is going to at least high at the end.

This is the fruitful my effort and outcome of my regular reading good habit.

So, All figure I take from living digital magazine one of my favorite, So Just for your information.

Biometrics secure or not!

Biometrics secure or not!

Observe

                statistical study of biological data:

the application of statistical techniques to biological data

The word biometrics comes from the Greek bios (life) and metrikos (measure).

          It is pure mathematical pattern

To measures distance between our Bio ID patterns by statistics.

Security levels

Level 1 relies on something a person carries, such as an ID badge with a photograph or a computer cardkey.

Level 2 relies on something a person knows, such as a password or a code number.

Level 3, the highest level, relies on something that is a part of a person’s biological makeup or behavior, such as a fingerprint, a facial image.

Verification system which is based on “PREVIOUSLY STORED DATA”.

Techniques for usages

          Facial Recognition

          Fingerprint identification

          Hand geometry

          Retinal pattern recognition

          Iris based identification

          Signature recognition

          Voice recognition

Thank god:

We ensure that the biometric trait would remain unchanged even ‘as the person aged’.

Needs of thief:

1st Thieves aim to gain access to your biometric data and claim the same as their own.

2nd We are collecting uniquely identifiable information that cannot change,

because that information we cannot change means there is no alternate recourse for an individual to prove who they are.

3rd Usage of mould and material such as clay, gelatin or dental plaster to make fake fingers,

or simply chop off a finger from a user to save the time

          E.g. Terminator movie

Research:

of Clarkson Biomedical signals Analysis Laboratory,

60 faked finger samples can possible to make of one finger.

in addition hi tech fingerprint scanners also did false verification 90 % of them.

          Wonder to use!

Information:

Many developed countries like US, UK, Germany, Morocco, and Bahrain developed readable biometrics identity of all country’s people.

India is also stands in this line of progress it make biometrics Civil ID.

Future conclusion:

Hyperion, Biometric manufacture Comp.’s CEO David Brich said:

“Biometric might work well for an environment under security control like ATM but would be less useful in a PC, unless secure hardware was added in future.”

NFC - "Mobile trigger out our Wallet"

NFC - ‘The Change – in transaction & communication’

NFC-Near Field Communication

NFC which is short-range (1-2 inches) wireless technology is Revolutionary Invention for communication & transaction become timeless with primarily aimed at used by mobile phones.

Problem:

Our time is much more consumed for Bank transaction or any money related transaction like confirm travel tickets, pay the bill, recharge the account and entertainment activities, etc. For these time consuming activities one best solution is NFC technology

Solution:

We can save our valuable time from routine transaction & communication with the use of NFC enabled mobile where “Mobile trigger out our Wallet”

How it works?

Bringing Devices in the Loop

The term ‘ Near Field’ derives from the fact that enabled devices must be relatively close within one wavelength to reach other or to a tag, in order to communicate.

It can also be used for authentication, such as an employee ID to grant entry to buildings.

NFC operates in the 13.56 MHz (Access at All distance like T.V. Channel, Radio Channel) frequency range.

Although NFC technology is related to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), it is not the same. RFID tags can be read from several feet away; NFC cards cannot.

Applications in use:

Smart poster - the mobile phone is used to read RFID tags on outdoor billboards in order to get info on the move.

Mobile Payment - the mobile phone acts as a debit/ credit payment card

Mobile ticketing in public transport - an extension of the existing contactless infrastructure

Bluetooth pairing - in the future pairing of with NFC support will be as easy as bringing them close together and accepting the pairing.

NFC Forum

The NFC Forum is a non-profit industry association founded on March 18, 2004 by NXP Semiconductors, Sony Corporation and Nokia Corporation to advance the use of NFC short-range wireless interaction in consumer electronics, mobile devices and PCs. The NFC Forum will promote implementation and standardization of NFC technology to ensure interoperability between devices and services.

NFC enabled phones

In India NOKIA 3220, Motorola L7, Samsung X-700, … are easily available.

Note Down: there are two kinds of models NFC Enabled Model & General Mobile phone of same model.

Sun developer network.

Many java compitible handsets are used by the company C – Sam Inc., based Chicago- Baroda, Bombay And Felice/M Felicia/M Felicio/M felicitate/XGNSD  standard that is supposedly compatible with NFC.

Rolta Technology, Chennai, INDIA also working on NFC projects.

Standardization of NFC Technology

ISO/IEC 18092/ECMA-340 : Near Field Communication Interface and Protocol-1(NFCIP-1)

ISO/IEC 21481/ECMA-352 : Near Field Communication Interface and Protocol-2 (NFCIP-2)

My approach will to acquaint and promote NFC to unaware people (Indian).

As per my perception Key point to not implements of NFC is unemployment will increase in this high populated region; which is not comfort to survive for technology, yes.
